Brentford FC, in collaboration with (re)boot and London designers ROW_____Z, have released a capsule featuring bespoke, sustainably-upcycled shirts made from previous seasons’ kits.

The collection has been produced to reduce the number of old Bees' kits heading to landfill, in an effort to combat the climate crisis.Every year, an estimated 100,000 tonnes of sports kit is sent to landfill globally. Landfill sites filled with slowly decomposing materials produce methane, a toxic greenhouse gas that contributes to climate change.

Brentford have a history of eco-conscious thinking when it comes to the production and distribution of their kits. This collection follows the club’s 2021 decision to keep the same home kit for a two year cycle, a move designed to make the club more environmentally sustainable and save fans cash in the process.

Each shirt from the latest collection is one-of-a-kind and handmade by London-based designers from ROW_____Z using unused stock from the previous four seasons of Brentford shirts manufactured by Umbro.

A combination of Brentford home, away and third shirts were upcycled to create the new shirts which were conceived by (re)boot’s London based team of designers. This is the latest move in the space by (re)boot and ROW_____Z, having previously produced collections for Juventus and Inter Miami.

The Brentford FC x (re)boot collection is available in-store at the Gtech Community Stadium as well as via the club's online store.
