Nike and Chelsea have unveiled their away kit for the 2025/26 season, taking a trip back to the 1970s.

Paying tribute to the club's iconic 1974 away shirt, the two transform its look from the past into the present. The release serves up a sleek, modernised take on the classic that nodded to Hungary's 'Magnificent Magyars' of the '50s, a team that manager Dave Sexton was inspired by.

While the original saw a clean white base overlaid with bold red and green stripes down the middle, this season's look switches things up. A warmer shade enters the frame, lined with subtle pinstripes, with the secondary colours also featuring on sleeve cuffs, the club crest and branding.

Launched as Chelsea celebrate their 120th anniversary, the campaign was shot in the Saatchi Gallery while the club held their 'This Game Is What We Make It' exhibition — a fitting backdrop for a shirt shaped by history. The men's first team are set to debut the kit alongside their home strip during this summer's FIFA Club World Cup.

Nike's Dri-FIT ADV system powers the jersey, combining moisture-wicking fabric and features created with athletes in mind. The jersey features open hole zones, offering breathability to keep players cool while performing under pressure.
