adidas and F.C. Copenhagen Women took over IIIORGINALSTUDIO for a two-day event celebrating culture, community and creativity in women’s football.
The event showcased the club’s bespoke jersey capsule designed by local artist Amanda Lydert who took F.C. Copenhagen's home jersey and reworked it into 30 pieces of art, each one worn by a player during a recent training session – documented by photographer Josefine Seifert.
Along with the displayed jerseys, Seifert’s portraiture adorned the exhibition space, her work capturing the intensity and spirit of F.C. Copenhagen Women as they prepare for the final stretch of the season – a fitting tribute to the players writing the latest chapter of the club’s story.
To accompany the exhibition, a panel hosted by VERSUS Editor-in-Chief, Amie Cripps, took place to discuss contemporary sports culture and the standards being set by women’s football today.
Joining the panel was Head of Women’s Football at F.C. Copenhagen, Rebecca Steele, F.C. Copenhagen player Sunneva Hrönn and street footballer and creator Anusha Samia, who spoke about the new ways fans can connect with their clubs — not just in stadiums, but in galleries, through design, and in daily life — and the future of women's football.
