Nike have officially unveiled the England Women’s National Team kits for 2025, with both the home and away shirts offering a fresh take on tradition, ahead of a huge summer for the Lionesses.

The home kit reworks an iconic look from the past, supposedly drawing inspiration from the Admiral shirt worn at the 1982 World Cup. It keeps England’s classic white base but introduces a modern gradient detail in red and blue across the shoulders — a nod to heritage with a 2025 edge. A clean blue collar and sleeve cuffs round off the design, keeping things sharp and understated.

While the home kit taps into nostalgia, the away kit takes a bolder approach. England’s new strip is predominantly black — a first for both The Lionesses and Three Lions — paired with blue Swooshes and crest detailing. But it’s the shirt’s side panels that really stand out, featuring a striking red, pink, and blue stripe that runs down both flanks. It’s a standout element bringing colour, movement and energy to an otherwise minimalist base.

Both kits are paired with darker shorts — navy for the home, black for the away — following calls from the Lionesses for more practical kit design in light of period leaks. The move addresses concerns around playing in lighter shorts when players are on their periods, marking another step forward in responding to the specific needs of women athletes.

As with all of Nike’s 2025 federation kits, the England strips are constructed with Dri-FIT ADV technology for peak performance, alongside 4D data-mapping and digitally guided tailoring to enhance breathability, stretch and fit where players need it most.

With UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 fast approaching, the Lionesses will take to the pitch in kits that honour their past, support their present, and push the game forward.

The full collection will be available soon on nike.com and via select retailers.
