adidas are staying in their nostalgia bag for 2025, with reports suggesting they are set to drop an F50-inspired Taekwondo sneaker.
After the release of the Predator Megaride last month, the Three Stripes have dialled it back to 2006 once again. This release takes sporting silhouettes to the streets, merging the F50.6 Tunit with the in-vogue Taekwondo slip-on.
Playfully combining the F50's iconic, sleek upper with the slim sole of the Taekwondo, the shoes grab attention in the same way the boots did nearly 20 years ago. Arriving in at least three vibrant colourways – royal blue and white, yellow and blue, purple and lime green – they were designed to stand out, clapping back at Nike's T90 SP III in style.
The F50 Taekwondo joins a growing list of sneakers inspired by Y2K boots, with re-release designs often taking on the classic glossy finishes and streamlined builds that made football boots of this period iconic. From adidas to Acne Studios, it's official: astro and jeans summer is here.
While no official release date has been confirmed, the adidas F50 Taekwondo is set to be available soon so keep it locked to VERSUS to find out more.
