Netflix is set to drop a documentary series on PSG’s historic Champions League-winning campaign.
The news was confirmed by the club earlier this week, detailing that the series will take viewers behind the scenes and tell the story of how they claimed their first-ever UCL title.
While the format and release date are yet to be confirmed, the documentary will also cover PSG’s 2025 FIFA Club World Cup journey and will be released after the tournament. It’s expected that contributions from players as coaching staff will feature, as well as behind-the-scenes footage captured throughout the campaign.
As supporters become more invested in the lives of the biggest stars in the game, chronicling history in real time has never been more valuable. Netflix has been tapping into the power of storytelling in football for years, and this documentary series is the latest in a growing trend of ballers taking charge of their own narratives.
With the likes of Ousmane Dembélé, Désiré Doué and manager Luis Enrique set to star, expect them to steal the show off the pitch just like they did on it.
