The Lionesses will play the Reggae Girlz for the first time ever as their final fixture before heading to the UEFA Women's Euros this summer.
England will take on Jamaica at Leicester City's King Power Stadium on Sunday, June 29, with ITV Sport broadcasting the historic match-up.
Jamaica made headlines after their impressive performance at the 2023 FIFA Women's Cup where they progressed to the knockout stages of the competition for the first time, having eliminated Brazil in the group stage.
The upcoming fixture will form part of the Lionesses' pre-Euros preparation campaign, falling a week before the current champions' opening game in Switzerland. This will be the second time the team have played at the East Midlands' venue, after a sold-out fixture against Belgium during their UEFA Nations League 1-0 win back in October, 2023.
Cross-continental fixtures are becoming more common in the game outside of major international tournaments. Earlier this month it was announced that the Unity Cup will be returning to the UK for the first time since 2004, with Brentford's GTech Community Stadium hosting the tournament at the end of the men's European domestic season. Nigeria, Ghana, Jamaica and Trinidad & Tobago will take part in the upcoming tournament between May 27 - 31.
Although this will be the first time England and Jamaica have faced one another, several of the Reggae Girlz currently play in the WSL and Championship including Taylor Hinds, Bunny Shaw, Becky Spencer, Drew Spence and more — with some having also even represented England at youth level.
Tickets will go on sale to My England Football members on April 22 and on general sale from April 24.
