Nike have unveiled the 'Shadow' boot pack, fronted by the coldest Phantom 6 colourway we've seen yet.

While bright boots might be the go-to selection for summer, the Swoosh have gone against the tide, dropping a look straight from the shadows. It serves up the first low-key style for the Phantom, following its two previous bold colourways, arriving with a classic combination of black and blue.

The newly-launched Phantoms are loaded with Nike's latest innovations, included an updated Gripknit upper that's primed for precision. The all-black base is detailed with icy accents, a clean contrast used on Swoosh branding, while also striking through the Cyclone 360 soleplate.

Elsewhere, the two veterans of the boot game step out from the shadows in the same style. Like the Phantoms, all branding and detailing are iced over, with technology innovations — from the Mercurial's 3/4 Air Zoom Unit to the Tiempo's plush Flytouch Plus upper — taking tooling to a new level.
