Nike have just opened up the vault, unveiling their latest sneaker franchise that merges football and footwear like never before.

Named 'Cryoshot', the Swoosh's latest arm reimagines classic on-pitch silhouettes, taking them from the stadium to the street. The concept takes inspiration from cryogenics, where low temperatures provide long-term preservation of DNA, with several boots from the past being taken off the ice and brought back to life.

The unique innovation honours the heritage surrounding Nike's most iconic looks, with boots such as the R10 Tiempo and Nike's 'Striker' from 1976 all being repurposed for the present day. Studs from each model are encased in a semi-transparent midsole, 'crystallised' as a nod to where their journey first began.

Both Nicolò Barella and Warren Zaïre-Emery were spotted wearing models from the franchise ahead of tomorrow's Champions League final, with several other names expected to step out wearing the shoes in the build-up to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

No official release date has been confirmed by Nike but keep it locked to VERSUS for when details drop.
