adidas has chosen Riccardo Calafiori to become the brand’s first-ever underwear ambassador.

The Arsenal and Italian defender’s self expression on and off the pitch was the reason why adidas selected the 22-year-old to take on the ambassador mantle and front their latest 'Active Flex Collection'.

To introduce the range and Calafiori as a brand ambassador, the 22-year-old has been captured in a way he’s never been seen before. Shown effortlessly moving through life’s off-pitch moments like unwinding post-match in the changing room and carrying out simple acts of domesticity at the laundrette.

The capsule was built with players’ movement in mind, making sure to prioritise comfort but not jeopardizing style courtesy of its timeless design.

The three key garments were created using soft, stretchy cotton that offers moisture-wicking properties, a chafe-free construction, a 4-way stretch to feel fresh and comfortable throughout the day as well as a contoured pouch for unbeatable all-day support.

Core to the release are the black and white cotton briefs and trunks, both featuring the iconic adidas Three Stripes' branding that runs down the outer sides of the underwear. The minimalist heat-seal adidas logo appears on the waistbands to complete the clean monochromatic aesthetic.

The adidas ‘Active Flex Collection’ is available now online via adidas and in store.
