Beats By Dre have just made their latest addition to a star-studded sporting roster, signing Cole Palmer as a global ambassador.
The Chelsea and England baller makes his debut for the brand in a campaign video inspired by his nickname 'Cold', reflecting his chilled-out persona on and off the pitch, with the partnership titled 'Some Play, Others Glide'.
Cole steps — or rather glides — into frame, effortlessly making his way around an ice rink in a pair of Nike Air Force Ones. Unlike previous announcements, including Kobbie Mainoo and Lamine Yamal, he isn't joined by an artist, instead soundtracked to Lee Hazlewood's 'Your Sweet Love' while wearing the Beats Studio Pro headphones.
“Music is always part of my routine, so I’m honoured to be amongst some of the greatest names in sport and teaming up with Beats,” said Cole. “The ‘cold’ celebration is about staying composed and confident both on and off the pitch, so it was fun to do this with Beats.”
The partnership celebrates the 23-year-old's composure, confidence and carefree nature, qualities that have seen him become one of the most exciting and revered players in the game right now. He joins both Mainoo and Yamal, alongside Lionel Messi, Erling Haaland, Alessia Russo and more leading their respective sports to link up with the brand.
