adidas linked up with F.C. Copenhagen’s women’s team to create a set of bespoke jerseys celebrating the side’s inaugural season as well as the creativity and culture of the club and its city.

Copenhagen-based artist Amanda Lydert created 30 custom-designed jerseys – one for each player in the squad – as a tribute to the individuals shaping the club’s future.

The club’s home jersey has been transformed like never before, with each shirt featuring a stitched-on second layer. Light blue fabric flows across the back, printed with excerpts from a poem penned by Lydert herself that’s an ode to the spirit and resilience of women who wear the CPH badge.

The adidas logo has also been transformed with its iconic trefoil morphing into three fierce claw marks – drawn, cut and applied by hand – symbolising the team’s “Lionesses” nickname.

The shirt is joined by an editorial from photographer Josefine Seifert that captured the players wearing the shirt for the first time, before training in it at the team’s home stadium of Vanløse Idrætspark.

F.C. Copenhagen’s Head of Women’s Football Rebecca Steele summed up the club’s deeper purpose: “We don’t just play to win; we play to represent something bigger — a community that supports each other on and off the pitch. Being part of the club’s early years means shaping the identity and setting the tone for everything that follows.”

Midfielder Ida Skovbo said: "Being part of the club's early years makes me very proud. It's always exciting to be involved in something new right from the start—we create history every time we achieve a new goal, and that in itself is something to be proud of."

Although less than a year old, F.C. Copenhagen Women are already competing in the play-offs for a spot in the top division of Danish women’s football and earlier this month reached the semi-finals of the Danish Cup.
