adidas are going all out for 'Boots Only Summer', with rumours that they're set to drop an F50 fit for the streets. Literally.
The Three Stripes keep their finger on culture's pulse, with this release arriving as football and footwear's latest trend keeps the game in a chokehold. After confirming rumours of the +F50.6 Tunit's Taekwondo-infused return, this release doubled down on the iconic silhouette but does so with a twist.
Once worn by the likes of Lionel Messi and Arjen Robben, it's safe to say the 'F50 Adiframe' is more for the streets than the stadium. Though early pictures suggest the "boots" will arrive in their original studded state, what stands out is the transparent TPU cage that encases them — designed to prevent wear and tear (and broken ankles).
The sleek synthetic upper of the past is brought into the future with a glossy pink, previously not seen on the model, with the Taekwondo mash-up featuring in three different colourways. Paired up with equally striking silver detailing, it's the perfect combination to stand out this summer, building on fashion's obsession with styling shoes built for the beautiful game.
While no official release date has been confirmed, the adidas 'F50 Adiframe' is set to be available soon, so keep it locked to VERSUS to find out more.
