PUMA has officially revealed the Premier League's new match ball for the upcoming season, the 'Orbita Ultimate PL'.
The launch confirms the German brand's latest role as the league's official ball supplier, replacing Nike after a 25-year partnership.
The new design – dubbed the 'Brilliance Edition' – is built for performance. The ball's 12-panel construction provides balanced weight distribution and improved aerodynamics through enlarged, deep seams. The high-frequency moulded build ensures durability, shape retention and a soft touch across all weather conditions.
Other technical features include a 3D-textured surface for enhanced flight and wear resistance, as well as a rubber bladder with PUMA’s 'Air Lock' valve for reliable air retention and rebound. The ball arrives with a predominantly white base but flashes of colour are added across the design courtesy of geometric patterns and brush strokes in purple, pink and black.
The Premier League’s switch to PUMA comes after two and a half decades of working with Nike, whose match balls have been a constant in the English top flight since 2000. PUMA already supplies match balls for Serie A, La Liga, the EFL, and the Scottish Women’s Premier League, with its new partnership further cementing its presence across major European competitions.
The 'Orbita Ultimate PL Brilliance Edition' is available to purchase online via PUMA and select retailers.
