adidas and Newcastle United have produced a modern classic for their 2025/26 home kit.
Arriving in the iconic black and white, the design pays tribute to the Toon's roots, with each stripe subtly blended with a shepherd's check pattern — sometimes called 'border tartan' — synonymous with rural areas to the north of the city.
Blue detailing provides a nice contrast to the club's classic combination, featuring across the sleeve cuffs and the TEAMGEIST-style collar and piping — an adidas aesthetic making a return to the pitch this season. Stamped on the jersey's neck is the motto 'Howay the Lads', with three-stripe branding stretching across the shoulders.
The on-pitch jersey was crafted using adidas' latest cutting-edge HEAT.RDY technology, helping players perform under pressure through the use of materials that maximise airflow. And, as a nod to the community, the club will donate £5 to their foundation from every shirt sold via their website or official store.
The men's first team will debut the new kit at St James' Park this Sunday in their final game of the season against Everton.
The adidas and Newcastle United 2025/26 home jersey is available from May 29 via adidas, the club's website, and select retailers.
