Nike have finally brought back one of football's most iconic boots after months of speculation, the Hypervenom I.
The Swoosh's latest drop reintroduces the classic silo with the Hypervenom RGN, a boot built for the game's sharpest and most disruptive forwards.
The new release nods to the legacy of the original, first released back in 2013, whilst locking in modern tech for the new-age player.
The RGN combines the original Hypervenom I’s mesh and Gripskin with the aggressive plate of the Hypervenom 3. The launch also arrives in a 'Bright Citrus' colourway — the same orange-and-black combo that turned heads over a decade ago, with another archive-inspired edition also rumoured to be on the way.
Following up on the return of the Mercurial Vapor 1 RGN last December, Nike continues to dig into its vault and pull out some of the brand's most storied pieces answering the demand of nostalgic football fans and players alike.
The Hypervenom RGN is the latest legacy boot the brand has reintroduced to meet the needs of modern footballers: both embracing what athletes have loved in the past and pairing that product heritage with innovations for the future.
The Nike Hypervenom RGN lands on May 29 via Nike and select retailers.
