Manchester City and PUMA have unveiled their home kit for the 2025/26 season.
The latest release nods to City styles of years gone by, but not the type you'd expect, instead adopting a design motif synonymous with the club's away shirts.
Arriving in the unmistakable sky blue, the spotlight shines on the 'sash', a feature first used towards the early '70s. Last seen in repeated fashion on the club's treble-winning away kit in 2023/23, it makes a return in an unfamiliar setting, making history as the first to ever adorn the home shirt.
The design maintains the club's ongoing history, but does so with a vision for the future. Previously, the sash has stayed solid, but this time, it takes on a new look, connecting Cityzens past and present. Black branding and detailing provide a nice contrast to club colours, including a CITY word mark stamped on the shirt's nape.
The jersey takes on PUMA's latest 'ULTRAWEAVE' fabric, offering a lightweight feel that is optimised for on-pitch performance, partnered with their 'dryCELL' technology that keeps you cool and comfortable wherever you are. Made through the brand's 'RE:FIBRE' initiative, it also champions sustainability, created with at least 95% recycled textiles and other materials.
The launch film was shot at the Clayton Official Supporters Club, celebrating the club's local community and what it means to be a fan. The men's team will debut the release at this summer's Club World Cup, a tournament set to see other clubs, including Real Madrid, PSG and Bayern Munich, do the same.
The Manchester City 2025/26 home shirt is available now via PUMA and select retailers.
