As the world prepares for the World Cup in the coming weeks, whiskey brand Jameson have teamed up with Lovers F.C. to produce a range of jerseys that pay homage to the most iconic international kits of all-time.
Combining football, fashion, and whiskey, the release sees shirts from England, Germany, Holland, Brazil, Argentina and Ireland’s historic catalogue partnered with Jameson insignia, offering football and whiskey enthusiasts alike a stylish alternative to a classic national kit.
Partnering with Lovers F.C, who have previously worked with Selfridges and You Must Create (YMC), the collection hopes to communicate the ethos of bringing fans together to celebrate what football shirts and their heritage represents.
Neal Heard, founder of Lover’s F.C. has said: "It’s not often that you get to combine two of your favourite loves, whiskey and football, but with this collaboration I’ve been lucky enough to do so. The intertwining of football shirts with popular culture continues apace, and this collaboration celebrates exactly that."
The limited-edition football shirts will be available online from November 4, with 150 of each shirt being released and retailing at £40. They will also be available from select Powerleague locations* and through competitions via Jameson and retailer Asda.
In addition to the collaboration, Jameson are also releasing a select line of limited edition original blended Whiskey with five unique label designs – inspired by the personalities of a dedicated football fan.
