Umbro linked up with MSCHF to drop one of the waviest capsules the football x fashion world has ever seen – literally.

The ‘V2.wav’ collection sees the Brooklyn-based art collective take their signature design style and mould it into the world of football, with kits, shorts, shoes and a classic Umbro x MSCHF football.

The two jerseys feature a unique, swirling detail on the collar and the chest. In true MSCHF fashion, the brand name is reimagined in the style of popular brands, from Nintendo and Amazon to Mountain Dew. One jersey arrives in a pink and teal colourway with a base graphic similar to those jazzy paper cups from the ‘90s, whilst the other takes on a classic black, blue and white curving stripe design.

It wouldn’t be a full footy collection without a ball, and the NYC collective tapped up a true heritage brand to do the job. A dual-branded Umbro x MSCHF football takes a generic black and white ball and warps it, stretching the hexagons, logos and words to appear as if the ball is constantly in motion.

The ‘V2.wav’ capsule is available to purchase now on the MSCHF website
