VERSUS and size? came together in Manchester for the final instalment of 'The House Party' – a series of live events that takes new football culture on the road to some of the UK’s biggest cities.
Taking over the size? store in heart of Manchester, VERSUS put together an elite night of entertainment to celebrate some of the most iconic international fits ever in an all-night celebration of jersey culture and football's impact on fashion.
The World Cup is a unique celebration of global culture and while this year's tournament is the subject of controversy, we brought joy back to the forefront of football by looking back at the colour and vibrancy of jersey culture and rating the greatest football x fashion collabs of all-time.
The night was hosted by hometown heroes Mason Collective – the underground kings of Manchester's music scene – who brought vibes all night long with a signature high-energy set. In between the music was a panel hosted by Mayowa Quadri featuring [ K S R ] alongside Amie Cripps and Morgan Allan from the VERSUS team, which broke down the evolution of style culture within the beautiful game.
There VERSUS community came through in force and enjoyed a night of drinks courtesy of Arumba, games of FIFA 23 on PS5, an installation of iconic World Cup jerseys courtesy of Classic Football Shirts, and a pop-up store from Manchester-based brand Centre Forward.
