Having won an array of plaudits for his latest runway collection, Samuel Ross is opening up a pop-up event in London promising free A-COLD-WALL* "goods and resources".
A promotional flyer and DVD case was posted to Instagram detailing the event in a distinctly 90s design aesthetic including the label's BTEC* branding, a theme that was present during the spring/summer 18 runway show.
Speaking to Dazed last year about what fashion is to him, Samuel Ross said: "It’s a medium. Clothing is just another way for me to articulate ideas – what I love about fashion is the design process. Which is why I say I’m a designer, not specifically a fashion designer. Product design is my love. I want people to be able to buy a piece of A-COLD-WALL furniture and have that as a centrepiece in their lounge too." And it looks like beyond just clothing, "goods and resources" could extend beyond just clothing, with the DVD case already proof of that.
The event takes place at Charlotte Street News in London from 4pm.
