The new adidas F50 boots are set to drop in time for the Euros and Copa América this summer, and Lionel Messi just gave us a glimpse of what we’ve been missing for the past nine years.

The GOAT had kids begging for a pair of F50s back in their heyday, and with the classic boots set to make a major comeback 20 years after they first burst on the scene, it’s only right Messi takes up his rightful place as the face of adidas’ newest footwear regen. 

Messi debuted the boots during Inter Miami’s win over D.C. United on the weekend, giving the world a first look at the relaunch of adidas' most iconic boot. Arriving in the same metallic purple and neon yellow colourway as Messi’s signature ‘chameleon’ boots from 2012, the F50 is officially back with a bang. 

adidas has been teasing the relaunch of the F50 for a while now, with the latest being a side-by-side of the new boots with the OGs. The F50 is well and truly out of retirement and ready to terrorise the pitch once again.
