Jerome Boateng has cemented his status as one of the waviest players in the game by linking up with Berlin-based tastemaker magazine 032c for a new capsule collection.

Fusing his on-pitch nickname - “Boa” - with his squad number (17), the 'BOA17' capsule is a unisex collection inspired by the German centre back's favourite things: dogs (especially his pitbull, Ivory), hip-hop, camouflage, and the colour baby blue.

It'll feature hats, shoelaces, socks, and pins, as well as a desert camo over shirt emblazoned with the Latin phrase "Per Aspera Ad Astra” (“Through hardship to the stars”) - which pays homage to Boa's background kicking ball on the streets of Berlin-Wedding through to becoming one of the most lauded defenders of the last few years.

The capsule will drop in August 2018, where it can be picked up at Berlin's Bread&&Butter (B&&B) event and on breadandbutter.com. Bread&&Butter by Zalando takes place at Arena Berlin from 31 August through 2 September, 2018.
