Nike dropped the first images of their upcoming Air Max Plus Tiempo sneakers earlier this year, and the pitch-to-street classics aren’t a one-off drop, with a first-look of a brand-new colourway landing ahead of the summer release.

The ‘wolf grey’ colourway is a reverse of the original black trainers with white details that made its way to the internet in March. A silvery grey leather upper gives the shoe a bright update, with the signature Tiempo Swoosh arriving in black. Despite swapping mesh for premium leather, the iconic waves of the Air Max Plus are replicated in intricate stitching.

The mash-up of a classic football boot and the street’s favourite sneaker is complete with all the usual TN branding decorating the sole and the heel, as well as a retro-inspired foldover tongue covering the laces.

Nike has been heavily leaning into football x streetwear crossovers, dropping a colourful Air Max Plus Mercurial last year, as well as multiple sneaker-inspired boot rumours floating across the internet as the lines between football and fashion continue to blur.

With two colourways of the AM Plus Tiempo set to drop in July, the possibilities for more pitch-to-street footwear from the Swoosh are endless.
