Nike are set to drop two hard Air Max 1 models inspired by London and Amsterdam.
The London-themed model is cold in every sense, arriving in a “Grey/Valerian Blue" colourway referencing the cityscape of the Big Smoke while constructed from a range of textures including mesh, suede and corduroy in reference to the city’s architectural diversity, while embroidery of the curving River Thames runs through the Nike Swoosh.
The Amsterdam sneaker also comes with a multi-textural upper, featuring elements of smooth and rugged suede, corduroy and leather, and arrives in a “Red/Khaki/Peach” colourway that reflects the the red bring buildings and winding canals of the city. The canals are also celebrated in a similar heel embroidery to the London sneaker, with the “XXX” from Amsterdam’s coat of arms embellished on the toe box.
