The Emirates Stadium will officially become the home of Arsenal Women from the 24/25 season.

The Gunners will play eight WSL games alongside three UEFA Women’s Champions League fixtures at the north London ground if they qualify for the group stages of the competition. Progress to the latter stages of the UWCL would mean all home legs in the knock-out rounds will also be played at the Emirates.

The news comes after the average attendance figures for Arsenal Women’s Emirates’ fixtures gathered an average crowd of 52,000+ this season - which included two sell-outs and three league attendance records.

Remaining games, including women’s domestic cup fixtures - the FA Cup and Continental Cup - will be played at long standing host venue, Meadow Park, as the club make the transition to the Emirates on a full-time basis.

Arsenal have been at the forefront of progressing women’s football for decades, and their latest move cements their status as pioneers in the game.

As the demand for the women’s football continues to reach even higher heights, Arsenal are continuing to play a vital role in ensuring they provide platforms and opportunities to their players that showcases them as the elite-level athletes they are. Here's hoping more clubs follow their lead in the near future.
