Umbro and Slam Jam are back with another collab, continuing to merge terrace staples and streetwear with a new ‘Hard Times’ capsule.
The Italian streetwear brand’s take on the English sportswear brand has had fashion heads begging for more since the duo linked up for the first time last year. For AW24, the elevated Umbro classics are infused with football and English heritage.
The masked outerwear that takes the internet by storm with every drop is back, arriving in a checked anorak with matching track bottoms. A soft hoodie with “I love referees” stitched on the front also features the balaclava detail – with a broken heart instead of the generic red heart motif.
An England kit-inspired polo shirt stands out with gingham sleeves, whilst a gold and black jersey celebrates 100 years of Umbro with a special shirt sponsor. A black and white striped top features trompe l’oeil, inside-out effect with ‘1924’ and ‘Hard Times’ written across the chest.
The first drop of the ‘Hard Times’ capsule is available to purchase now on the Slam Jam website, with the second arriving on September 30.
