PUMA has just announced that Dutch national and FC Barcelona striker Memphis Depay will be linking up with the brand to become their new global ambassador.
Memphis Depay was spotted wearing the ULTRA Flare Pack in which he scored on his return from injury, and he swiftly followed up on that feat by unveiling himself as the Big Cat's latest brand figurehead.
Dropping the announcement with a video soundtracked by his own music - while clad head-to-toe in PUMA - Memphis immediately becomes one of PUMA's biggest names due to his on-pitch and cultural presence.
Depay will not only become one of the new faces of the ULTRA football boots, but will work as a creative force off the pitch, with PUMA set to work with MD9 on football and lifestyle projects that draw on his love of music, fashion and art.

The new partnership will combine influences from sport and culture to create unique products, starting with the launch of Depay’s very own PUMA collection later in 2022. PUMA will develop co-produced fashion products with Depay through his luxury sub-label BADTTW (‘Blind and Deaf to the World’).
