Nike are linking up with their biggest Premier League teams to drop off a new wave of special edition jerseys inspired by the biggest looks in UK sneaker culture, the 'Air Max Club Collection'.

The new releases mark a fresh chapter in modern jersey culture, with Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur all being blessed with some of the most street-inspired fits the game has seen, with each kit based on the vibe of an iconic Air Max sneaker. Details on each jersey include colourways inspired by OG models, Air Max motifs in place of shirt sponsors, and oversized Nike logos instead of the standard manufacturer symbol.

Liverpool's special edition jersey has been inspired by the timeless Air Max 90 OG colourway. The classic Nike Air logo replaces the traditional swoosh, with pinstripe lines running down bringing a fresh take on the football jersey. This is complimented with a full lifestyle collection through a colourway that has a strong visual connection to the city.

Tottenham's Air Max drop is inspired by the timeless Air Max 95 OG colourway. The shirt takes the same grey hues seen on the sneaker with the neon accents, leveraging the impactful nature of the Air Max 95. All styles show the synergy between Nike sneaker heritage and North London culture to create an authentic and locally relevant collection for the streets of N17.

Over in West London, Chelsea get a splash of the timeless Air Max 180 OG colourway with their new jersey. Representative of the creativity and cultural imprints within the city of London the ember glow and ultramarine marry up across the plain white canvas with an embossed ‘180 logo’ in the middle of the jersey. This is a continuation of the third jersey colour scheme and features throughout the entire collection which also includes a full tracksuit with a ‘90s vibe all round.

The special edition jerseys won't be worn on pitch and will be supported by a lifestyle collection - including tracksuits, tees and jackets - for each club.

Ahead of the collection's launch, we connected with Jordan Henderson, Eric Dier, Sam Kerr, Jess Naz, Christian Pulisic, and Mel Lawley over FaceTime to get an early look at their special edition jersey and capture them wearing it for the first time via a virtual shoot.
