Venezia are reportedly set to sign a new kit deal with Drake’s Nike sub-label NOCTA, splitting ways with Kappa after three years.
The Kappa x Venezia years have transformed the recently-promoted Serie A team into streetwear royalty, with their fashion-forward kits turning heads on and off the pitch. After three seasons in jerseys that could walk down a runway, the Venetian club could be on the cusp of a new era.
NOCTA is a Nike diffusion label, launched in 2020 and fronted by Drake as a streetwear-focused brand. Though Venezia had a relationship with Nike before their Kappa years, a new partnership with Nocta could send the club in a whole new direction visually.
This would be Nocta’s first foray into the world of football, and Venezia is the perfect club to test out the waters with. Though NOCTA x Venezia may shift the club’s visual identity, the truth remains clear – fashion’s favourite football club is here to stay.
Venezia’s fashionable foundation has been set, and it’s just waiting for someone else to build upon it. After seeing what Jordan has done with PSG, there could be some Venetian grails dropping in the near future.
With the team currently training in unbranded kits, a new deal for 2024/25 is on the horizon, and the world can’t wait to see it.
