Frenkie de Jong might still be an Ajax player for the time being, but he's already endearing himself to the Barcelona faithful after tearing apart Real Madrid last night.
The 21-year-old Dutchman put in an inspired performance against the three-time UCL winners, leaving Luka Modrić and Toni Kroos in his wake on several occasions.
Frenkie sat down Modrić at the Bernabeu.

Speaking to press after the game, Frenkie revealed that whilst securing his £75m deal to join Barcelona at the end of the season they asked him to try to knock out Real Madrid: "During my contract signing, they said: 'Try to knock out Real.' That would also be great to Barca."
It seems like he delivered on that request as Ajax overturned a 2-1 deficit to beat the reigning UCL champions in their own back yard in a sensational 4-1 victory ensuring the Amsterdam club went through to the final 8 with an aggregate score of 5-3.
Frenkie de Jong is part of an elite group of young players who are set to take over in 2019. Find out who else is about to make their mark this year.
