The FA Cup is well and truly underway, with the First Round Proper kicking off early next month. So, with potential giant killings looming, it's only fitting that there’s a ball to match the occasion, and Mitre’s new Ultimax Pro is exactly that.
Capturing its iconic past, the release artistically reimagines a ball steeped in footballing history, to celebrate the heritage and position Mitre has in the memories of the footballing world - encapsulating their ethos of “real football for real fans”.
Using a thermally bonded four-panel construction, the Ultimax Pro takes on Mitre’s ‘Hyperflow’ grooves that texture the ball, boasting flight consistency across all speed and shot variations. With FIFA Quality Pro approval, the ‘Hyperfoam’ engineering offers an improved feel, with it also being 32% more durable than its predecessor.
As aesthetics go, the artistic reimagination takes us through footballing heritage. Decorated with 16 chevrons, each one tells its own story, capturing the essence of some of the most iconic moments Mitre has been a part of in the last 30 years - with the retro Mitre branding capping off a ball that screams nostalgia.
The Mitre Ultimax Pro drops in limited numbers and will be available at Mitre, Lovell Soccer, and Pro Direct.
