Nike have just announced that they've extended their partnership with the Premier League to last until at least 2025.

The new six-year extension will mean Nike will have sponsored the world's most popular league for 25 years, having first began the deal back in 2000. The deal has seen the development of significant innovations in the official Premier League ball, from increased visibility to decreased paneling, shaping the domestic game as we know it today.

Nike has supported a range of initiatives with the Premier League down the years, including local community projects and the Premier League Players’ Kit Scheme. The scheme, which has been running since 2011, encourages young people to get active by providing schools and clubs with full playing kits.

In other Nike news, the Swoosh brand are also rumoured to be bringing back their 'Sportswear' logo for their third strips next season.
